How Does A UPS Work?
Normal Operation:
The UPS continuously charges its battery while connected to a power source (like the electrical grid). The battery remains on standby, ready to supply power if the main power source fails.
Power Failure:
When the UPS detects a power outage or a voltage drop below a certain level, it switches to battery power almost instantaneously. The inverter converts the DC power from the battery into AC power to maintain a stable output for connected devices.
Return to Normal Operation:
When the main power source is restored and stable, the UPS automatically switches back to using this power source. The battery begins recharging to prepare for the next power disruption.
